The good- nice, understated décor, polite, efficient staff, many of the dishes were excellent. The goat cheese and pita appetizer was terrific, the Nutella mousse was excellent. The not as great- the room is noisy, not terrible but a little annoying. The curry salmon- the spice was excellent and the couscous was very good, however, the salmon had the distinct taste of freezer burn. The shrimp and grits were properly prepared but just ok flavor. The giant puff pastry was fresh but a little boring and while fairly good sized I would not exactly describe it as giant. The wines by the glass were OK, not bad, but for the price a little disappointing. Overall, this was not a bad experience, just not a great experience for the price. At this price everything needs to be terrific.

My boyfriend and I were so so excited to try this restaurant but we honestly were super disappointed. We wanted to like it so bad but the food we ordered for our main courses wasnt great, especially for the price. The sea bass I ordered was pretty rubbery and overdone unfortunately. Our waitress was extremely friendly and they had good drinks, but we definitely left hungry.

Upon a recommendation we decided to stop in. The food was great and easy but the cocktails are where its at. They look at cocktails like they do their food and make sure every taste is perfect! Thank you Kelly from Proof on Main for the amazing recommendation! Both restaurants are a go too in Louisville!

The steak was ordered medium rare and recooked to medium and was happily eaten. Medium rare is pink inside. Things like this happen in every restaurant. You must have had a good time since you stayed 25 minutes past our closing time. Thanks.

My Dad's steak came very rare to where he had to send it back. My noodles and lamb dish was meh. I think they switched to a different menue ahead of derby, but they did not do it well unfortunately.
